A tribeam is used when you’re building on one tree and two posts, a treehouse between two trees. Or if you have 3 trees you can put a tribeam on one tree and span to the other two trees with beams resting on the tribeam(you would then run you joists perpendicular across the two main beams)

This will support half of a 250+ square foot treehouse. Note: if you’re in a heavy snow load area and close to that range we recommend contacting us to discuss if you need to step up to the Pro Series TABs we offer(huge 1.75” diameter TABs)

Also note: when you get to this size special consideration needs to be taken into the size & materials used for the tribeam among other things.
